James Robertshaw design, manufacture and install bespoke awnings and window blinds
for trade, commercial and property clients.

The company is a family business with over 150 years’ experience of innovating, designing, manufacturing and installing bespoke awnings, coverings and window blinds.
Founded in 1860 by Mr James Robertshaw of Collyhurst, Manchester, the company initially made Victorian box awnings with woodwork carved by hand, but were best known for the Spring Roller system, patented in 1908 and produced until 1954.

Today James Robertshaw remains a family owned and run business. In 2010 after 50 years at its Farnworth home, the company re-located to their current, modern facility and headquarters at Horwich, Bolton, where all products are designed and manufactured.

With clients ranging from independent bars; national chains and bar brands; architects and contractors working on major hospitality projects; and blind trade; James Robertshaw has the creativity, expertise and knowledge to make a visible difference to any business.
