THE AWNING
The system of an awning is configured
- LA LONA, which provides shade
- THE SYSTEM, which supports the awning
- THE DRIVE, which allows the awning to be opened and closed

THE SYSTEM THAT SUPPORTS THE AWNING
The system is basically made of aluminum and makes up the skeleton of the awning. Its solidity, its useful life and its ease of operation depend on it.
The system of an awning is configured by:
- The supports that serve to hold the awning on the wall and the rest of the elements.
- Roll-up and traction protective profiles.
- The arms that allow the projection of the awning.
LLAZA systems are manufactured with top quality materials and are the result of the company's important research and technological development work.

THE CANVAS THAT PROVIDES SHADE
The other basic component of an awning is the canvas.
The choice of canvas should not be based solely on its color or pattern. It is important to know how to choose a suitable fabric, since there are several qualities in terms of material, density and manufacturing technology, which strongly influence the level of sun protection offered by the canvas.
What fabric can the awning canvas be made of?
- Acrylic fabric is the most effective and durable.
- Its mass tinting provides great color fastness, preserving the original color for longer.
- They reduce the adherence of polluting emissions.
- They are permeable to air but impermeable to water (if atmospheric conditions are not extreme).
- They are not toxic or polluting.
- Its main characteristic is its impermeability, which makes this fabric ideal for making awnings that will be exposed to humid environments.
- It is very resistant to tears and shreds of the fabric.
- In some of its qualities, it offers a fire retardant treatment.
- Special, state-of-the-art fabrics, made up of a membranous structure that offers multiple advantages.
- This fabric can be made of “polyester + PVC” or “fiberglass + PVC”.
- Their great flexibility gives them high resistance to the passage of time.
- They offer a high level of thermal insulation, which favors energy savings.
- They reduce heat, thanks to their breathability, which allows air to pass through.
- They provide visual comfort, as they protect us from light allowing vision through them (and avoid the feeling of being enclosed).
- They are available in different color possibilities to adapt to the various light input needs.
- They offer different possibilities of fire retardant treatment.
- The texture of these fabrics makes it easy to clean.
THE OPERATION THAT ALLOWS TO OPEN AND CLOSE THE AWNING
THE THIRD COMPONENT OF AN AWNING IS THE DRIVE SYSTEM.
An awning can be operated manually, with a crank, or by means of a motor or automated system. The motorization of the awning provides a more precise drive and helps to optimize its operation.
Today, the option of motorizing the awning has become the most recommended, whether for functionality, comfort and even safety.
THUS, THE OPERATION OF THE AWNING CAN BE:
- Traditional, with lifting machine and crank.
- With fast machine and crank: in this case, the machine acts with a compensating spring that facilitates the retracting of the awning by notably lightening its maneuverability.
- Standard Motors: Traditional motorization system with inverter. The motor is actuated by a push button or push button and there needs to be a cable between the motor and the push button.
- With remote control: Radiofrequency motors that have an integrated radio receiver. Thus, the laying of cables is avoided, since the activation is carried out by means of a remote control.
- In case of sun: when the intensity of the sun's rays is greater or less than the programmed value, the sun sensor detects it and activates the opening or closing of the awning as necessary.
- In case of rain: the automation detects humidity and activates the closing of the awning.
- In case of wind: when the wind subjects the awning to oscillations and potentially dangerous movements, the wind sensor detects it and activates the closure of the awning to protect it.
