The inauguration of the new showroom, the presentation of the STORBOX S-250 cassette awning with its innovative CLIP&FIX fixing system, the launch of the “LLAZA DOCS” APP and the visit to the LLAZA and RECASENS factories are the highlights of the 2024-2025 LLAZA customer convention.
Double day of meeting between LLAZA and sun protection professionals that took place on the Costa Daurada with more than 160 attendees from 92 companies from all over Spain.
LLAZA wanted to present a package of very important innovations and for this purpose it invited clients from the sector to its facilities in Alcover (Tarragona) on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 October 2024. An optional visit to the LLAZA factory was proposed early in the morning, which turned out to be a great success in attendance, with 95% of attendees signing up for the visit. We greatly value the involvement of attendees in getting to know first-hand the facilities, processes and people who work day after day to provide products that meet the expectations of professionals.
After this first visit to the factory, it was time to learn about the first of the new products that LLAZA presented at this convention, the New showroom of more than 800 m2 of the LLAZA brand. Design, comfort, elegance and home automation come together in a unique space, with a permanent exhibition of up to 30 complete systems from the LLAZA brand, in a layout designed so that visitors can easily understand the entire range of systems that LLAZA brings to the market. The new LLAZA showroom has left nothing to chance, everything has a reason and a purpose. The music, the layout, the light, the work spaces, ... LLAZA makes this exhibition space available to all sun protection professionals as a new commercial tool to boost their businesses.
Once the visit to the showroom was over, the attendees entered the auditorium to learn about the rest of the new products. Cristina Recasens, CEO of LLAZA, was in charge of making an assessment of the last 10 years of the company during which LLAZA has launched to the market up to 10 different models of awnings. He also presented LLAZA's 4 main short-term bets, such as: showroom a new lacquering plant of 1.500 m2, the new chest system STORBOX S-250 with the patented fixing system CLIP&FIX and the mobile application LLAZA DOCS with all the documentation of LLAZA brand products in your pocket.
Francisco Lapuente, product manager at HABITAT LLAZA, was in charge of presenting the STORBOX S-250 awning and the CLIP&FIX fixing system. In the first phase of the presentation, attendees learned about the product on a commercial and technical level and all the improvements and updates to the product. The key moment, however, came with a sound, a “clack” that is going to change many things in the solar protection sector. The key moment of the presentation came when a patent was unveiled that was conceived and designed by and for professionals, a development that is the result of the countless conversations that LLAZA maintains with professionals in the sector. The CLIP&FIX system is a fixing system that was created to transform the process of installing an awning into a faster, safer and more comfortable system.
Still with surprise on their faces, attendees were able to learn about the “LLAZA DOCS” mobile application through the explanations of Oriol Pujols, marketing director of LLAZA, an APP for exclusive use by professionals with all the documentation of the LLAZA brand products, whether images, renders, videos, commercial material or technical documentation. In addition to having all the documentation on the mobile, the application allows LLAZA to send all the news and updates of interest to all professionals who have it installed. This APP represents an improvement in communication between LLAZA and professionals, an increasingly key factor in an environment as changing as the current one.
All these emotions were well worth a break in the form of lunch, which then gave way to optional visits in the afternoon, both to the RECASENS logistics centre in Valls and to the weaving and finishing plant located in La Pobla de Montornès. As with the morning visits, the percentage of people who signed up for the visit was around 95%. This figure shows the value that professionals in the sector place on knowledge of the processes and materials that make up the product.
Almost without giving up the break, the first day of the convention came to an end with a very special party in the spectacular surroundings of the INFINITUM Beach Club, located in the privileged Cap de Salou and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Live music and a gastronomic experience of fusion of culinary specialties from around the world were the ideal accompaniments to digest what had been experienced throughout the day and to share all the wishes and expectations of the sector for this new season. Perfect end to the party.
The next day a new group joined the convention and the experience of seeing first-hand what the LLAZA team has been preparing for months was repeated. Even with an identical programme to the first day, human reactions can always surprise and so they did. This time the revolutionary clack was received with loud applause by the audience. These are exciting moments that are never forgotten and that give meaning to the work carried out, especially taking into account the comments received directly from the professionals who wanted to try out the product themselves.

LLAZA is starting today to prepare for the 2025-2026 convention. Some of the new features planned to be presented are already underway. It invites all professionals in the sector with whom it collaborates to reserve a space in their diaries year after year for this meeting point that is so enriching for everyone.
